"This summer I had the opportunity to work with Vine as an apprentice. Being able to work with Vine and for her brand, HER, LLC presented me with various new and meaningful experiences. I was able to gain insight from Vine and her expertise in grant writing, public health matters, and the in-and-outs of running a business. Together, we worked in collaboration with the Dixwell Avenue Congregational United Church of Christ, assisting them with a major financial project throughout the summer. We also officially published HER, LLC’s website and started the process of organizing upcoming grant writing workshops. Thanks to Vine, I was able to grow not only as an individual, but also alongside Vine and her business. My time with HER, LLC was productive and enjoyable! I am looking forward to continuing working with Vine and seeing the progress of the HER, LLC"
